Mark Flood

IRON MOUNTAIN — Mark Anthony Flood of Iron Mountain passed away on Nov. 19, 2025, at the age of 71.

Mark was a native of Crystal Falls, where he was born on Oct. 16, 1954, to Robert and Jeana Flood, the youngest of five children.

He was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain and was president of the church council for many years.

Mark led a very active life and was passionate about many things. As an athlete at Forest Park High School, Mark was a standout football player and track and field competitor, excelling in both sports. After graduation, Mark continued his education and sports at Hillsdale College. While at Hillsdale, Mark continued to be a two-sport standout, setting several track and field school records.
