Phillies excepted to re-sign Kyle Schwarber this offseason

The Philadelphia Phillies could look towards bringing back one of their best offensive talents from last season.

The Athletic's Andy McCullough has noted that Kyle Schwarber remains on the Phillies’ radar this offseason. Schwarber was a key figure to the Phillies’ offense last season, smashing 56 home runs with a .928 OPS. Schwarber was also extremely durable in 2025, appearing in all 162 games for the Phillies. He was named to his third All-Star appearance for his efforts.

Schwarber has spent the last four seasons in Philadelphia, and has established himself as one of the team’s best players in that time frame.
