LOGAN – The percussive sensation STOMP will storm into Logan for a two-night stand at the Ellen Eccles Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 3.
STOMP features an eight-member troupe banging on everything but conventional drums --including matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and even hubcaps – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.
Critics worldwide have raved about STOMP for decades, urging audiences to “ … go out and see what the noise is all about.”
Created by Steve McNicholas and Luke Cresswell, the artistic roots of STOMP date back to that duo’s street theatre work at the Edinburgh Festival in England in the 1980s.
