The Campbell’s Company is dealing with a public relations nightmare this week, and just when millions of Americans are looking for some cream of mushroom soup for that Thanksgiving green bean casserole .
The controversy surrounds Campbell’s Vice President of Information Technology Martin Bally, who allegedly disparaged the company’s products, employees and customers during a January conversation with former Campbell’s employee Robert Garza.
Garza, who secretly recorded the conversation, says he was fired from his job as a security analyst just weeks after complaining about Bally. Detroit television station WDIV shared portions of the audio recording after interviewing Garza, who filed a lawsuit against the company last week.
