LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A Michigan man killed during the Korean War has been accounted for, the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced on Tuesday.

Harold B. Duleya from Twin Lake, Michigan, has been accounted for.

Dulyea was 23-years-old when he died.

In July 1950, Dulyea was part of of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was reported missing-in-action on July 25 after the Battle of Yongdong in modern-day South Korea.

According to testimonies, Dulyea was held as a prisoner of war, but was not among POWs were sent back to the U.S. after the 1953 armistice.

The U.S. Army determined he died in captivity. On Feb. 25, 1954 he was officially presumed dead by the Army.
