LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The forecast is headlined by snow chances and colder temperatures late this week and into the weekend, but until then we should see fairly quiet weather for Wednesday and Thanksgiving on Thursday.
Strong winds will continue to be an issue into late Tuesday evening. High Wind Warnings and Wind Advisories in eastern parts of the state - including the Wind Advisory in Lincoln - have been extended until midnight tonight. Winds will likely remain a bit blustery into the first half of the day on Wednesday before they settle down a bit. Skies are expected to be mostly clear tonight and mainly sunny as we start Wednesday. A weak disturbance will bring in cloud cover to the state through the day on Wednesday.
