There are two sides to every story, and Carolina Panthers safety Tre’von Moehrig shared his perspective on the incident with Jauan Jennings .

Late in the fourth quarter of San Francisco's 20-9 win over Carolina on Monday night at Levi's Stadium, Moehrig went viral after he appeared to wind up and punch Jennings in the groin at the end of a play.

Immediately after the game, Jennings responded by slapping Moehrig at midfield as the two teams came together to share postgame pleasantries -- or lack thereof -- before the 49ers wide receiver had to be separated by teammates and coaches.

Moehrig spoke to reporters in the Panthers' locker room after the game, and explained what led to him punching Jennings below the belt, stating he never has done anything "dirty" unless he was provoked.
