The National Weather Service released a wind advisory at 4:26 p.m. on Tuesday valid from Wednesday 7 p.m. until Thursday 7 p.m. for Cambria, Blair, Somerset and Bedford counties.
The weather service states, "West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected for the Laurel Highlands."
"Gusty winds will blow around holiday decorations and other unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," comments the weather service. "Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects."
