OAKLAND — A man who pimped a woman after luring her to the area with a modeling job was sentenced to six years in state prison, according to court records.
Christopher Lee Card, 40, pleaded no contest to pimping the woman and was formally sentenced last October, court records show. Card was given about four years worth of credit for time he spent behind bars while the case was pending, including time credits for good behavior.
Card was arrested in 2021, after the woman reported that he was holding her against her will at a Union City hotel. She later told authorities he offered her a modeling job but that after she flew in from out of state, her forced her to have sex with strangers for money, “as many as I possibly could in one day.” Human trafficking charges were dropped as part of the
