MILLICAN, Texas (KBTX) - A crash on Tuesday morning along Wellborn Road has turned fatal.

It happened around 7:25 a.m. in Millican when a Ford F350 was heading north on FM 2154, and a Nissan Sentra was heading south in the northbound lane. When the driver of the Sentra saw the F350, they tried to swerve into the southbound lane. The F350 also tried to swerve into the southbound lane and the vehicles collided.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) identified the Sentra driver as 64-year-old Gloria De Duarte of Navasota. DPS said De Duarte was killed in the crash, and the driver of the F350 was not injured.
