INWOOD, Manhattan (WABC) -- A innocent bystander who was injured in a shooting in Manhattan this week is speaking out after the apparent random incident.
Francisca Nunez, 64, remains at Harlem Hospital on Tuesday with a bullet lodged inside her left leg.
The shooting happened near Broadway and 204th Street on Monday.
She said dozens of teens dressed in black were arguing about something when one of them pulled a knife, which was followed by a gunshot.
The retired mother of four says she knew right away she was shot. She said she felt the heat in her leg and then came the blood.
That bullet struck her in her left buttocks and is now lodged inside her left upper quad.
She remains at the hospital with no idea if doctors will remove the bullet or when.
