SHEEPSHEAD BAY — POLICE SAY A 14-YEAR-OLD BOY was walking in front of 2931 Avenue X, a Sheepshead Bay NYCHA project, when he was approached by an unidentified man who asked him a question and then punched him multiple times throughout his body, and also slashed him in the arm with a sharp object, causing a laceration. The suspect then ran off, traveling southbound on Avenue X.
The assault took place Wednesday, Nov. 19 around 5:50 p.m., according to police, who supplied surveillance photos. The victim was transported by private means to Mount Sinai Brooklyn where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as approximately 16 to 18 years old, and was last seen wearing a black ski-mask, dark colored jacket, gray sweatpants, and gray sneakers.
