OMAHA, Neb. —

Charges were dismissed against a 14-year-old who was accused in a deadly Omaha stabbing , according to court documents.

The 14-year-old was charged with second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony in the death of 38-year-old Christopher Jackson.

Jackson was found with a stab wound in October near North 66th and Emmet streets. Paramedics performed CPR on him on the way to the hospital, where he died.

According to court documents, a judge ruled there was insufficient evidence in the case and the charges were dismissed during a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
