NORWOOD, Mass. —
A police raid in Norwood on Monday led to the arrest of three people and the discovery of drugs and firearms concealed in a toilet tank.
According to a statement from the Norwood Police Department, the situation began after a 911 call reporting the armed robbery of two juveniles near 21 Woodbine St.
"The group forcibly took an electric bicycle, jacket and shoes from one of the juveniles and threatened to shoot him if he attempted to run. Both victims were able to flee and call 911," police wrote.
Officers began searching through the surrounding neighborhoods and said that officers identified one of the suspects. They also received information that suggested the suspect and several others passed through backyards on the way toward Walpole Street.
