Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna says his team showed the mental strength you need to be successful in the Championship in tonight's 2-0 win at Hull City.

The match was far from a classic, but the Blues stayed in a scrappy match before scoring twice in the final quarter - Marcelino Nunez heading home a Jaden Philogene cross (69) before substitute Chuba Akpom netted from close-range after a Dara O'Shea header had been saved at a corner (73).

Town are now unbeaten in six, have won three straight away games and kept back-to-back clean sheets. They're now up to fourth in the Championship table, two points off the automatic promotion places, with a game in hand to come.
