An Albertville woman is accused of embezzling $60,000 from her now former employer.

Jail records show 41-year-old Julie Marion was arrested Monday.

According to Guntersville Police, Sunrise Industries Inc. reported an incident pertaining to embezzlement back on Nov. 18.

Police say it was discovered a total of $60,000 was missing from the business's account, and Marion was identified as the employee allegedly responsible for the missing amount.

After the completion of the investigation, Marion was charged with embezzlement and booked into the Marshall County Jail.

Jail records show Marion's bond was set at $30,000.
