Strictly Come Dancing's Karen Carney was left covered in bruises as she rehearsed her dazzling floor spin for the BBC ballroom show .

The football star and pro partner Carlos Gu pulled off the impressive move during last weekend's Blackpool show, where they performed a Paso Doble. They wowed the judges, getting a 10 from all but Craig Revel Horwood, who gave them a nine.

However, during an appearance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two on Tuesday (November 25), they revealed that the training took its toll on Karen.
