ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -Three people were charged Monday for a shooting in University City that resulted in one person dead.

Dawneeyale Foster and Raniyah Smith are both charged with one count of second-degree murder during the perpetration of a felony.

A third person, Jayla Moore, was charged with one count of attempted possession of a controlled substance.

Court documents state Foster, Smith, Moore and two other people drove to meet with two people at the 6600 block of Etzel for a drug deal on Sunday.

Smith had arranged the drug deal with one of the people they were going to meet.

Once they arrived, an unidentified man in the car handed money to a woman outside the car. In return, she showed the man a pill.
