Police in Fort Chipewyan have arrested four people who were seen walking into another person’s home. Article content

At around 9 a.m. on Nov. 10, police were told people wearing masks were seen entering a home on Henry Street in the northern hamlet. The complainant was concerned for the wellbeing of the home owner, so police arrived at the home to do a wellness check. Article content

Police arriving at the home saw multiple firearms outside the home and knocked on the door. One individual opened the door for police and all four people were arrested without incident. The home owner was not home at the time.

Police thanked the complainant for alerting police and praised the community for their cooperation.
