Nurses are sounding the alarm over a Trump administration proposal that would limit access to student loans for nursing students pursuing graduate programs.
"I think we were stunned and taken aback," said Katie Murphy, an ICU nurse and president of the Massachusetts Nurses Association. "These degrees are intense and expensive and cutting off our access to this funding will have an effect not only on the profession, but on the health of the nation."
