Windy and colder, then lake effect snow ramps-up Wednesday night through Thursday morning. There are a lot of active weather cycles to break down through the Thanksgiving week, all with varying impacts. There is likely widespread snow Saturday but before that happens, lake effect snow will impact southwest and west Michigan, with more than three inches of snow, most of the snow falls early Thursday morning. The wind will howl Wednesday as temperatures drop, gusts could top 40 mph. The weather is cold and quiet through Friday. Saturday is likely to start with snow, with widespread system snow impacting the Great Lakes, transitioning to a wintry mix Sunday. Plan for travel delays
