Police say that while the vehicle was being observed for a short period, officers noticed that the vehicle was swerving and crossing the painted centre lines.
The vehicle was followed and stopped, and police determined that the 48-year-old male driver had been consuming alcohol.
“A breath sample was taken at the roadside by an approved screening device, which resulted in a fail,” said police. “The driver was arrested, and when searched, a quantity of cocaine was located and seized.”
Police say he was taken to the Brockville police
