ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Albuquerque's International Sunport has introduced the FlySide Pass, allowing non-travelers to access areas beyond TSA checkpoints without needing a plane ticket.
"It's been great. Actually, it's not bad at all," Maggie Baca, a traveler, said, when asked about travel conditions.
Another passenger remarked, "It was very easy, I thought," while a traveler from Chicago humorously noted, "This trip was so easy, even for a blind man it was easy."
These good reports came despite concerns about increased traffic. Dave Fitz, New Mexico's regional spokesperson for TSA, assured people that the new feature is not a burden for TSA workers.
To obtain a FlySide Pass , applicants must apply on the Sunport's website up to seven days in advance and be at least 18 years old. Appro
