It's a Thanksgiving tradition that brings those who want to share their blessings, together with those who have lost so much So, they are extending the goodwill outside their restaurant doors, and no reservations are required.

They lined up a few hundred strong at the New Orleans Mission Tuesday morning to do what families do this time of year, give thanks, and have a big meal.

Premeal grace was more than a blessing. In the chapel they were moved by the sounds of gospel music, while in the kitchen 200 volunteers prepared the turkey with all the trimmings.

“We're thankful. We're grateful and we're in the spirit of giving and we love the city. It's given us so much. We owe it to the city to give back and feed the hunger.” said Marv Ammari, CEO of Creole Cuisine Concepts.
