Detroit Free Press investigative columnist M.L. Elrick writes that Brian McKinney, CEO of Gayanga, the demolition company accused of using polluted dirt to fill holes in Detroit neighborhoods, could hurt the political fortunes of Mayor-elect Mary Sheffield and outgoing Mayor Mike Duggan, who is running as an Independent for governor.
McKinney may also cost taxpayers big time, Elrick adds.
