Paramount Pictures is nearing a deal to distribute “Rush Hour 4,” a move that will mark the return of Brett Ratner to studio filmmaking after years in exile. Paramount would handle distribution for the film but is not financing production.
The project reunites Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, who helped the franchise earn more than $850 million worldwide across three films released between 1998 and 2007.
