Oregon moved up in the College Football Playoff rankings after its best win of the season.
The Ducks (10-1, 7-1 Big Ten) are No. 6 in this week’s CFP rankings, up from No. 7 last week after beating then-No. 15 USC. The Trojans dropped to No. 17 this week.
Oregon flipped spots with Ole Miss, which has its second bye last week.
“We didn’t have any discussion about Ole Miss and their coach; that was all about Oregon and their performance against USC,” CFP selection committee chair and Arkansas athletic director Hunter Yurachek said on ESPN. “Their strength of schedule continues to climb.
