WILLIAMSPORT — A man accused of wounding a 15-year-old boy during a teen party on Halloween will remain in jail without bail as he awaits trial.
District Judge Aaron Biichle on Tuesday found sufficient evidence to hold Zaire M. Jones-Wallace, 25, of Williamsport, for trial on all charges and denied a defense motion to set bail.
Wallace has been in the Lycoming County Prison without bail since he turned himself in the following day.
The shooting occurred about 11:20 p.m. Oct. 31 in a residence in the 800 block of Park Avenue, where the youngster was shot twice in the chest. Much of the incident was captured on video, which was played at the preliminary hearing.
