TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Tucson Police Department's Eastside Community Response Team and Zebra Unit recently tackled suspected narcotics activity on a public bus along Speedway Boulevard.
According to TPD, officers intercepted two individuals at Kolb Road, uncovering over 15 grams of methamphetamine, fentanyl pills and a digital scale.
One suspect had the meth packaged for sale, while the other was also found with meth, and both individuals were arrested, TPD said.
“Every time substances like these are taken off the streets, it’s a win for the safety and well-being of Tucson,” TPD said.
The department expressed gratitude to community members for their role in sharing vital information, emphasizing the collective effort in maintaining Tucson as a safe and welcoming place for all.
