LAS VEGAS, NV — Just 21 months after the Super Bowl was played at Allegiant Stadium, the Needles High School football team won its own title in Las Vegas, knocking off Pershing County High School 22-12 on Tuesday morning. This was the team's second-ever state Championship after previously winning one in 2007. It was also the second meeting this year between these two teams, in which Needles fell by eight in the first matchup. ×
