The YMCA of Northeastern Ontario, alongside community partners, gathered on Tuesday to celebrate 25 years of the Centre for Life.
The YMCA calls the centre a “cornerstone of community connection, support, and wellness in the heart of downtown Sudbury.’

Since opening its doors in 2000, the Centre for Life has provided space for vital community services, family programming, wellness supports, and collaborative partnerships that have strengthened the health, resilience, and well-being of Sudbury residents.
Located on Durham Street, the centre brings together 11 partners, including the YMCA, the Older Adult Centre, Health Sciences North (cardiac rehab), day care and other community-based organizations under one roof.
