Gill, who also runs track for Syracuse, has appeared in 36 of a possible 37 games for the Orange in his career. He is up to 506 yards and five touchdowns in a 2025 season that was derailed by quarterback Steve Angeli’s season-ending Achilles injury .

Gill and head coach Fran Brown have an exit meeting set in the next few weeks, Gill said, but they’ve already begun discussing goals for next season.
