State Representative Aftyn Behn (D-Nashville) on Sunday defended her May live stream on social media, in which she claimed to be "bullying" U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) as they conducted an immigration enforcement operation in Nashville.

Asked about the video, which has been used in a campaign advertisement by her Republican political opponent, Matt Van Epps, the Democrat told the "Breaking Points" podcast that she was opposing "government overreach" by purportedly following the state and federal law enforcement.
