AUBURN, Wash. — A man is in jail after he allegedly killed his wife and turned himself in to authorities over the weekend, according to the Auburn Police Department.
Police said a 37-year-old man called 911 just before 8 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, to report he had killed his 43-year-old wife at their Auburn home.
Officers arrested the man without incident. The husband was booked into jail; KING 5 does not name suspects until they have been officially charged in court.
Three children, who were home at the time of the woman's death, have been put into protective custody, according to Auburn police.
The King County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as Geety Sadat. She died of asphyxiation by manual strangulation and her death was ruled a homicide, the office said.
