WEST FARGO — Kenleigh Fischer scored the first two goals of the game, as well as the last, as the Fargo North/South girls hockey team beat West Fargo United 5-1 on Tuesday night in West Fargo.

Marin Nelson tallied a goal and an assist for the Spruins, and Jada Purdy added two assists.

Stella Gimberline scored the lone West Fargo goal, at 15-20 of the first period to cut the Spruins’ lead to 2-1.

Lauren Terstriep scored the other Spruins goal on an assist from Mckenna Kiland.

In all, Reagan Wilson had 23 saves for West Fargo United, while Olivia Rotar had 12 saves for Fargo North/South.

The Moorhead at Sartell girls basketball matchup has been postponed due to inclement weather. A makeup date will be announced at a later date.
