MARKSVILLE, La. (KALB) - It was a successful evening for Avoyelles Parish schools at Marksville’s Y-Not Stop Tournament, as the Tigers and Avoyelles Mustangs came away with victories.

The Mustangs took down parish rival Avoyelles Charter 62-50 to get their third win of the season.

In the nightcap, Marksville routed Menard 81-22 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
