Nearly 1 in 7 Georgians is living with food insecurity, including 1 in 5 children, according to Feedingamerica.org . For the past five years, the Jonesboro Community Food Center has worked to serve the Clayton County community.
The Jonesboro Community Food Center is an appointment-based food pantry that provides a plethora of items for those in need to select from, such as produce, baby formula and protein.
More than 70% of the stock is provided by donations from major corporations like Publix, Kroger and Costco.
