WARREN — A repeat offender was given consecutive prison sentences totaling nine years after he pleaded guilty to two third-degree burglary felonies and three fifth-degree breaking and entering felonies.

Harold W. Michaels, 51, of Penn Avenue NW, Warren, pleaded guilty to the charges on July 28 before Judge Sarah T. Kovoor, who said the defendant’s past criminal record and current bad conduct led to the judge giving him the maximum sentences for a series of shed break-ins in Champion and house burglaries in Howland in late 2023.
