Meghan Markle has attempted her best "mum joke" ahead of Thanksgiving , in her latest post on Instagram . The mother of two filmed herself seasoning a turkey in what is thought to be the kitchen of her Montecito mansion.

In the video uploaded to Meghan's personal page, the Duchess is seen preparing the turkey for the oven by stuffing the bird and applying pepper and herbs to the meat. She then grates a little citrus zest on the turkey, which sits on a large ovenproof dish.

Meghan cleverly wrote the caption: "Let the 'game' begin. Get it? #momjokes." The apt song accompanying the video was 'Turkey Chase' by Bob Dylan.
