INDIANAPOLIS — A mini basketball hoop hung on every door in the house. Every room had a ball, bat or golf club. Living room football and cul de sac wiffle ball matches were common. When Tyler and Kobe Cherry got tired of those, they would invent games or play Madden on their Xbox.

Their mother, Kelly, called her home a “locker room.” Her husband, Josh, remembers the lamps getting knocked over, the wall indents from golf balls and heads nearly hitting the fireplace. Everything was a race with Tyler, Kobe and their younger brother Luke.
