Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. There’s food, football and family, but it’s also a day to stop and reflect on being thankful.

For me, I’m thankful to live in a city where neighbors and leaders link together for the good of our community.

And that’s why Season for Sharing is so special.

It’s IndyStar’s annual fundraiser where we harness the power of local journalism to support Central Indiana children. Since 2011, with your help, we have raised more than $1.7 million to fund local programs that benefit kids.
