History: This recording artist, producer, model and actress has been in the mix of Detroit's music scene for at least a decade. Early on, Detroit Ché enjoyed some of the national spotlight when she won Sprite's "Hot 16" contest and earned a place on BET's 2014 Hip-Hop Awards Cypher. Since then, she has opened for national hip-hop artists and performed internationally. Her latest release is 2025's self-produced "Chizzy the Mixtape."
The latest: Detroit Ché is headlining a night of music this weekend at El Zocalo (3400 Bagley in Detroit) with friends Eli Myles, Tayor Bentley and Hysteric. Hosted by Uncle Tae and Kenyatta Rashon, the show is Saturday night 8 p.m.-2 a.m. Must be 21 or older to attend. Visit
