The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility will accept residents' used cooking oil on Nov. 29 from 8 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Sunrise Pump Station.

Residents may drop off used cooking oils and grease, including vegetable and meat drippings. Petroleum oils and restaurant waste will not be accepted.

EVANSVILLE — The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility will close out the Thanksgiving holiday and all the cooking it entails by affording city and county residential water customers the opportunity to dispose of used cooking oil for free on Saturday, Nov. 29.

The annual cooking oil disposal event will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sunrise Pump Station, located at 1200 Waterworks Road in Evansville, according to an EWSU news release.
