Watertown emergency personnel rescued a person from a submerged car in Watertown.
At approximately 9:52 a.m., Nov. 24, the Watertown Police Department, Watertown Fire Rescue, Codington County Emergency Management, and Codington County Search and Rescue responded to the area of the 200 block of Challenger Way Southeast for a report of a vehicle that haddriven into a pond and became fully submerged, the Watertown Police Department stated in a release.
At approximately 10:47 a.m., the driver was pulled out of the vehicle and transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, according to the release.
