CINCINNATI, Ohio — Joe Burrow and the Bengals will be in the Thanksgiving spotlight on Thursday night when they face the Ravens in Baltimore.

Burrow, who is expected to make his return from turf toe surgery, spoke on Tuesday about why he targeted Thanksgiving as a potential date to return to the field.

“Playing on Thanksgiving, something I’ve always wanted to do, that I pushed for in the past, and the NFL gave it to us, and then the injury happened and thought I wasn’t going to be able to play,” Burrow said to reporters.
