Loose Women has been cancelled today (Wednesday, November 26) after a sudden last-minute shake-up to ITV’s scheduled daytime line-up. The announcement was made by beloved panellist Ruth Langsford at the end of Tuesday’s episode (November 25). The panel briefly discussed the changes on the airwaves, as Ruth declared: “That is it for today, I am afraid. We are not on tomorrow because of the budget.”

It comes after Loose Women’s yearly schedule was cut from 52 weeks down to 30 due to the extensive budget cuts at ITV. It is likely that the show was pulled from the airwaves due to Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves ’ 2026 budget, which was announced on Tuesday (November 25).
