Following the end of the government shutdown , Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian made his goals clear: the carrier was looking to Thanksgiving, planning to optimize its performance.
"We look forward to bringing our operation back to full capacity over the next few days and delivering the premium experience our customers expect as we look ahead to the holiday season," Delta said in a statement .
Despite the optimism, Delta is facing a couple of hurdles at the moment. It just warned travelers that they may experience disruptions to their long-haul flights out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport due to ongoing fuel shortages.
