For Philly residents, there will be no trash pick up on Thursday’s Thanksgiving holiday nor will there be trash pick-up on Friday. The city has information for those who usually get trash pick-up at those times.

There will be a delay in trash pick-up for residents of the City of Philadelphia this week.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no trash pick-up on the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday nor will there be trash pick-up on Friday, either.

Instead, officials said, trash and recycling will be delayed. For example, if your trash would have been picked up on Friday, it will be collected on Saturday instead.
