FAIRMONT — A relatively new veterans group made sure four families will be able to enjoy Thanksgiving with all the fixins' on Sunday at Soup Opera.

"We know that there's a lot of people less fortunate that might not have a Thanksgiving meal, and the Soup Opera does provide meals for people, which I'm sure some of those will probably be homeless veterans," Bill Tobrey, a volunteer with Ultimate Experience Outdoors, said. "We just thought it was a good thing that we do this.
