On Wednesday, Paul Doyle, 54, admitted multiple offences at Liverpool Crown Court connected to the May 26 incident during Liverpool FC’s trophy parade.
Doyle pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, affray, 17 charges of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, nine counts of causing GBH with intent, and three counts of wounding with intent.
The driver, who had initially denied the charges, broke down in court as he entered guilty pleas relating to the attack on fans celebrating the football team’s Premier League win.
